As our AI Centre of Excellence continues to rapidly grow in Galway, we are looking for 2 well-rounded Graduate Software Engineers to join us on this exciting and challenging journey. You will be joining a collaborative team of like-minded people who thrive on technical problem solving and relish design challenges. Working in an Agile team environment, our teams are full-stack, with capabilities to deliver full features across Front-End, Back-End, Eventing and Storage layers. Genesys Software Engineers think through implementation details of scale, security, and usability.


You will be part of a team building new features in our Conversation AI product, by enhancing our existing Bot Platform. This will enable Contact Centres leverage conversation automation capabilities to provide their customers with a better experience. We write code in Java, Python and use technologies such as Dynamo DB, S3, Kafka, CloudFormation & Jenkins. We have a big focus on growing and developing our people, giving them exposure to the workings of a high-class software development team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementation of the Dialog Engine product, part of our AI Platform
  • Bring features all the way through the Design, Develop, Test, Deploy & Maintain cycle
  • Build your skills in software engineering in a supportive environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hons 2.1 Degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines (MSc in these disciplines would be a plus, but not essential)
  • You know how to write quality code in Java or Python.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in software engineering (internship or experience would be considered an advantage)
  • You want to work and grow in a dynamic team environment
